Il Sistema comunitario di ecogestione e audit (EMAS = Eco-Management and Audit Scheme) è un sistema a cui possono aderire volontariamente le imprese e le organizzazioni, sia pubbliche che private che desiderano impegnarsi nel valutare e migliorare la propria efficienza ambientale.

Il Comune di Bardolino nel 2012 ha ottenuto la Registrazione Ambientale in conformità al Regolamento Europeo EMAS III n. 1221/2009 implementando un Sistema di Gestione che garantisce lo sviluppo di strategie rivolte al rispetto e alla salvaguardia dell’ambiente, sia per aspetti ambientali direttamente correlati alle strutture e al comportamento del personale comunale, sia in relazione alla gestione del suo territorio. Oltre al Regolamento EMAS, il Sistema di Gestione Ambientale del Comune di Bardolino si configura conforme anche ai requisiti dello standard internazionale UNI EN ISO 14001:2015. The Community Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS = Eco-Management and Audit Scheme) is a system to which companies and organisations, both public and private, that wish to commit themselves to assessing and improving their environmental efficiency can voluntarily adhere.

In 2012, the Bardolino Municipality obtained the Environmental Registration in compliance with the European Regulation EMAS III n. 1221/2009 by implementing a Management System that guarantees the development of strategies aimed at respecting and safeguarding the environment, both for environmental aspects directly related to the structures and behaviour of municipal staff, and in relation to the management of its territory. In addition to the EMAS Regulation, the Environmental Management System of the Bardolino Municipality also conforms to the requirements of the international standard UNI EN ISO 14001:2015.
